Celebrating Maddie

This month, we are incredibly proud to celebrate a very special milestone.

Maddie has officially passed her EPA and is now a Stylist at William & Mary.

Watching her grow in confidence, develop her skills, and step into this next chapter has been such a privilege. She is a beautiful stylist with a natural talent and a calm, caring approach that our clients truly love.

A huge moment for Maddie, and a proud one for all of us.

Meet the Team

As we continue to grow, we’ve taken time to refine our team structure — ensuring every client experience is led with expertise, care, and intention. We’re so proud to introduce the team behind William & Mary…

Callum – Master Stylist & Salon Manager Leading the salon with experience, creativity, and a clear vision, Callum plays a key role in shaping both the client experience and the direction of the team.

Tasha – Principal Stylist | Training & Standards Lead With a passion for education and consistency, Tasha ensures every service delivered in the salon meets the highest standard — supporting the growth and development of the entire team.

Natalie – Principal Stylist | Assistant Manager Supporting the day-to-day running of the salon, Natalie brings both organisation and creativity, while continuing to deliver beautiful, considered work behind the chair.

Becca – Principal Stylist | Calligraphy Cut Expert Becca brings a wealth of experience and care to the salon and is a Gold Star Certified Calligraphy Cut expert, known for creating soft, precise, and beautifully tailored results.

Maddie – Stylist Now stepping into her role as Stylist, Maddie is already showing incredible promise, with a natural talent and a calm, confident approach behind the chair.

Heidi – Front of House | Operations & Accounts Heidi supports the business side of the salon, overseeing stock, systems, and organisation to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Georgie – Front of House | Marketing & Branding Georgie leads on marketing and brand, bringing the William & Mary story to life and ensuring everything you see and experience feels beautifully aligned.

It’s incredibly special to watch both the salon and our team grow together — each individual developing in their own way, while collectively shaping what William & Mary has become. What started as a vision continues to evolve through the people within it, and we’re so proud of the space we’ve created today. A salon built on care, expertise, and a shared passion for what we do — and we know this is only the beginning.

A Little Update on Becca

We know so many of you have been asking about Becca, and she continues to be very much in our thoughts.

She is currently awaiting another scan on her arm, which will give us a clearer idea of what her return may look like. As much as she is eager to be back in the salon, we want to ensure she takes the time she needs and returns in a way that feels right for her.

A soft return will be the first step, and as soon as we know more, we will of course keep you updated.

She is so missed within the salon, and it was incredibly special to have her make a guest appearance at one of our recent training days. Having her back with the team, even briefly, felt really special.

New Smoothing Services Coming Soon!

We’re so excited to be introducing our new smoothing services into the salon — with Maddie leading the way.

We’re currently putting together the ultimate packages, designed to give you smoother, frizz-free, humidity-resistant hair.

There will be:

• A semi-smoothing treatment, perfect for holidays or special occasions
• A longer-lasting smoothing treatment, designed to last 3–6 months

These treatments will help to:

• Reduce frizz
• Cut down blow-drying time
• Minimise heat usage
• Leave hair smoother, more manageable, and longer lasting

Looking for Our Next Rising Star!

With Maddie now stepping into her role as Stylist, and Maria progressing into her second year of her apprenticeship, we’re now looking ahead to find our next rising star.

If hairdressing is a career you’ve been considering, this is your sign.

We offer a carefully curated training pathway designed to support you in becoming a confident, highly skilled stylist. You’ll train with the Mike Taylor Academy in Poole, attending every other week, alongside weekly in-salon training led by our Training & Standards Lead, Tasha.

Together, this creates the perfect balance of education, experience, and support — all within a growing, award-nominated salon environment.
