June in the Salon
Well, June certainly delivered on the sunshine front! We have had one of the warmest starts to summer in a good few years and, whilst we absolutely love a sun-soaked day, we are very grateful for our air conditioning.
There is nothing quite like stepping into a cool, calm salon when the world outside feels like a hairdryer on full heat. We hope you have been keeping cool and looking after yourselves out there.
As always, behind the scenes there has been so much going on at William & Mary. It has been a month of incredible milestones, familiar faces returning, and a little bit of magic happening right here at 4 High Street.

Our 15th Birthday Party — Tickets Are Available
The excitement is very real. Our William & Mary 15th Birthday VIP Event is taking shape beautifully and we could not be more thrilled to share some of the details with you.
We have two intimate sittings on Thursday 6th August 4:00–5:30pm and 5:45–7:15pm and tickets are just £25 per person, available now via TryBooking.
The goody bags are coming together wonderfully and we are so excited about what is inside. Every guest will receive:

Becca Is Back — and Blooming
We are so happy to share that Becca is back with us and settling in beautifully. It is an absolute joy to have her working alongside the team again and, my goodness, she has hit the ground running.
Becca has been getting on in leaps and bounds with her calligraphy cutting technique, her signature style is really coming into its own and the results are something special.
If you have been curious about what calligraphy cutting can do for your hair, now is a wonderful time to book in and experience it for yourself. We could not be prouder.
Kieran: A June to remember
If you thought last month was a big one for Kieran, you were absolutely right and we are not sure how he fitted it all in.
He attended Hair Con, one of the biggest events in our industry calendar, where he was invited to demonstrate his work on stage in front of fellow hair professionals and some of the biggest names in the industry.
As if that were not enough, he then took part in a professional photoshoot with none other than Captain Fawcett, a truly iconic name in the world of grooming and men’s styling (if you haven’t looked them up, we very much suggest you do).
The Captain Fawcett team descended on our little salon on Father’s Day for an incredible day of work, creativity, and collaboration.
Kieran’s level of workmanship and dedication to his craft was on full display, and we are beyond proud. Watch this space too, Captain Fawcett products will be coming to William & Mary very soon, and they are rather wonderful.
We feel incredibly lucky to have Kieran with us, and even luckier that he brings opportunities like these through our door. The future is looking very exciting.
Callum & Kieran: A Night to Remember at The Fellowship
And if June wasn’t already full enough, we also had not one but two of our team represent William & Mary at a creative evening with The Fellowship Hair in Winchester and what an evening it was.
Callum stepped in front of the room as one of the creative leads, styling his own model and crafting three different looks as the evening unfolded. Each one a little different, each one a testament to his skill and creative eye.
Meanwhile, Kieran was right alongside him, assisting throughout and then stepping up to host and present the evening, engaging the room, guiding the audience, and making the whole thing feel as warm and inspiring as it was.
Together they were brilliant. The evening was all about bringing education, creativity, and a real sense of fun to fellow stylists and inspiring others to explore the photographic and presenting side of the industry. And they did exactly that.
What makes us most proud is that both Callum and Kieran gave up their own free time to be there. That kind of dedication, that passion for the craft beyond the salon floor and it says everything about the kind of people we are so lucky to have on our team. We could not be more proud of them both.
The Whole Team: Summer Hair at Its Finest
Whilst all of this has been going on, the rest of the team have been quietly doing what they do best, delivering beautiful hair and making every client feel truly looked after. Under the heat of this summer, everyone has been working with care, warmth and, yes, the very welcome assistance of our air conditioning.

We Are Now Open on Mondays
Just a quick reminder that William & Mary Hair is now open on Mondays!
Since the 1st of June, we’ve been offering this extra day for appointments, and it’s been wonderful to see so many of you taking advantage of the additional flexibility.
Whether you prefer a quieter start to the week or just need more choice around work, family, and summer plans, we hope having Mondays available makes booking in with us even easier.
