May brought with it sunshine, fresh energy in the salon, and some truly lovely moments with our clients. As we move into June, there is even more to look forward to, including the return of a familiar face, the launch of Smoothen, and exciting new opening hours.

A Beautiful May at the Salon
There was something especially lovely about May this year. The month began slowly and softly, with cool mornings, fresh countryside air, and those quieter moments in the salon where there is time to truly relax, catch up, and enjoy being looked after.
As the weeks passed, the sunshine arrived properly, and with it came a shift towards summer. Conversations naturally turned to lighter colour, softer texture, glossy finishes, and hair that feels effortless in warmer weather.
It is one of our favourite times of year in the salon. Hair feels brighter, fresher, and full of possibility.
Whether you visited us for a complete transformation or simply a little maintenance and self-care appointment, thank you for spending part of your spring with us.
A Very Welcome Return
Becca Returns in June
We are so pleased to share that Becca will be returning to the salon from 2nd June following her recovery from a broken elbow.
She has been hugely missed by both the team and our clients, and we know so many of you will be delighted to see her back in the salon again.
As she continues easing back into work, Becca will initially be returning on reduced hours, meaning appointments are currently very limited.
If you would like to book with her, we would strongly encourage arranging your appointment sooner rather than later.
We honestly cannot wait to have her back with us.

Introducing Smoothen
Smoother, Shinier, More Manageable Hair for Summer
We are incredibly excited to officially introduce Smoothen, our new demi-permanent smoothing treatment, designed to make everyday styling easier while keeping hair beautifully soft and natural.
Unlike traditional straightening systems, Smoothen works gently to reduce frizz, soften texture, and improve manageability without removing movement or body. The result is hair that feels smoother, more polished, and far easier to style day to day.

Maddie – From £180
Kieran – From £200
Additional product, where required for longer or thicker hair, is charged at £20 per additional 20ml and will always be discussed during consultation before application.
Smoothen Aftercare
To help maintain your results beautifully at home, we have also created a dedicated Smoothen Aftercare Package including professional shampoo, conditioner, and maintenance samples selected to support longevity and shine.
Our team will happily guide you through everything during your appointment.
Monday Appointments Are Here
We Are Now Open on Mondays
From 1st June, William & Mary Hair will officially be open on Mondays.
This is something we have been quietly working towards for some time, and we are so pleased to now offer even more flexibility for appointments throughout the week.
Whether you prefer a quieter start to the week or need more choice around work, family, and summer plans, we hope the additional availability makes visiting us even easier.

As we move into June, we simply wanted to say thank you.
